Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed full-stack Software Developer in Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will design and develop a web-based application for creating and managing tasking requests and approval workflows. The application will streamline tasking, provide centralized visibility for managers, eliminate duplication, integrate with other tools, and deliver metrics and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain a web-based application for managing tasking requests and approval workflows
  • Streamline tasking processes to improve information delivery to users
  • Provide centralized tools for managers to view and manage taskings
  • Resolve duplication in requests and integrate the application with other enterprise tools
  • Implement metrics and reporting capabilities
  • Follow Agile software development and DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automated deployments
  • Collaborate with team members in an Agile scrum environment to deliver high-quality software

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline (or additional years of specialized experience)
  • 3–5 years of relevant software development experience
  • Proven experience with OpenTable formats and PySpark
  • Strong experience with backend API technologies such as Python (FastAPI), Java, and SpringBoot using RESTful API design patterns and best practices
  • Experience with client-side technologies like JavaScript and UI frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
  • Technical understanding of AWS
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of DevOps, release engineering, and operations for automated deployments
  • Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced Agile environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
